disc brake conversion using 65 Tbird disc brakes.

Greetings,
I have a 65 country squire with drum brakes and have found a complete front disc brake setup for 65 Thunderbird, can i use them to do a disc brake conversion on the squire? i have been told its a direct bolt in.. just want to confirm.. thanks Mike

Has been a long time since I have crawled under a 65 Bird but I am pretty certain the parts are the same. Post some pictures as you work up your project.

Okay, this is far from being scientific, but even if you never purchase from them, you can still go to RockAuto and look up your year, make and model. On the page that allows you to put the part in your shopping basket, you can click on the highlighted part number and it will give you a parts interchange to see a lot of other models that it interchanges with. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't......
