I got the new rack put in the 96 taurus gl and finally tweeked the alignment to about 3/16 of an inch negative toe. It feels like a new car. The shop got it close - about 1/2 inch negative doing it by visual but just that little bit made such a big difference making it feel like the tires were slightly out of balance and more resistance to coasting and acceleration. at 3/16, negative toe, it feels good, no out of balance feeling. I'm not sure if that's factory specs but it must be close.
