Has anyone bought a new ford in the Us of A and imported it into Canada because of the higher Canadian Prices ?

Any info would be helpfull.

I haven't done it, but importing brand new can be tricky. The dealer can be at jeopardy and the warranty usually is voided. If the vehicle is used, at least six months old, it should be quite simple. Check out Registrar of Imported Vehicles for more info.

According to Ford, a USA dealer can not sell a vehicle for the purpose of exporting it to canada. ( even shown on the window sticker)
Now if you let it sit for 6 month, it shouldn't be a problem to import to Canada. Taxes would apply, but no duties as log as it was produced in the USA.
Unless you are moving to canada, in that case, everything you have is free to import, regardless of age.
