04 to 10 Triton 4.6 & 5.4 spark plug replacement !!!

Am interested in finding out any tips on changing the spark plugs on these engines. I currently do them at my shop, however it can turn into a 2 day job because of soaking the plugs and heating and cooling of the engine so as it can be worked on. Does any pre-purge the engine with cc chamber cleaner? I think I will try this on my next tune up. If any one has any questions I will try to help. Make sure you have the kit to extract the broken tips before you tackle this project. Lisle kit # 50600. Thanks for now.

I have not had too many issues with them. Have had to extract 2 for myself and went to a buddy's and pulled one for him once. All I do is warm the motor, back the plug out about 1/4 turn, spray or pour carb cleaner in the holes and let it bubble away. Then pull the plugs. Don't go back and forth. Just steady turns till they come out. Lots of techs make the mistake of thinking it is the threads that are messed up but it's not the threads. It's carbon build up on the bottom part of the plug. I got my kit from NAPA. Not sure of the number but it works really slick.
