Braided Line

Can braided steel line/AN fittings handle the high pressure of multiport EFI? I'd like to redo my fuel lines with this stuff and i hate working with hardlines/flares. I really don't know anything about braided line, so I thought I'd ask.

Yup, I believe the company is called Russel Performance, they make braided lines for just about any application.

I haven't used them and I don't have any buddies who have, but there's also a company called Earl's that is a competitor to Russel. Some little thought in my head says they were bought out by Holley years ago, I'm not sure. No matter who you buy from, the stuff is pricey. Pretty sure Jeg's sells their stuff in their speed catalog.

Okay, so expanding on this, I was looking at it on Jegs, and I was wondering how you can use it with a factory fuel hookup at the tank. Does someone make an adaptor for that?

I was thinking of just putting a fitting on my hardline somewhere downstream from there and splicingthe braided line into the middle, but I asked Jegs about this, and they said there's no way to splice -06 braided line into 5/16" hardline. Any ideas? -04 seems like it would be too small.
