I have a 2001 Ranger XL with 64,000 with a bad trans. It was a rebuilt one that was put in at 22,000. Been quoted $2500 to fix. Wondering if anyone knows what would be
a reasonable asking price to sell it to someone who could throw a trans in there. It has some body damage, dents and one large scratch that cut through the metal on the back fender (hit a garbage shed door rod). Probably needs tires, perhaps brakes.

Other than that it has given me no mechanical problems in 9 years that I had it.

That's a tough one.
Perhaps you should try the trade in calculator that most websites have.
I just checked Kelly blue book.
Just guessing on your equipment and with a good trans trade in was 2700.00
