98 Taurus Radiator Core Support

Hi, due to the accident, my radiator core support is crushed on right side just behind the headlight. (A traffic sign went through the headlight.) Is the replacement of whole support the only way how to fix it and is it a difficult job? I would like to attempt to do it on my own due to the limited amount of money, that I have for my disposal.
Thank you for your input.

They only sell them in one piece. No repair parts like you can for fenders and such so unless you know how to strip it down and pull it back out you are looking at replacing it all. Not that easy on a Taurus but do-able if you take your time.
