Nipples on headlights
On some of the plastic headlights (ie: 2004 CV) have nipples and it makes it very hard to polish out the lenses. Is there a purpose for these nipples? Can they be ground down or are they hollow and would leave holes?

You've got me curious now, I have an old set of headlights in my garage, I'll have to try grinding on down and see what happens.

I have ground them down in the past when I was polishing an old sent of head lights. They were not hollow, and once poslihed the head light had a nice smooth look to it.

Those nipples used to annoy me, too, until I found out what they were for. I just work around them now.
