Questions about my f100

I have a 1972 f100 custom with a 302 and C4, I have a fresh 321W and C6 for it, my biggest question is will I run into any snags? I have a set of shorty headers that were actually ordered for this same combo but in an E250 van, will they work on my truck? I also plan to use dream beams and a shackle kit to lower it, I plan to airbag the rear simply because I'll be pulling an open trailer with a race car behind it, I'm kinda throwing around changing coil springs but Im not sure which way to go, any suggestions? I also want to move the gas tank from behind the seat, looks like a fuel cell mounted in the bed will be my only option, anyone done this before? More to come as i dive into this project. Thanx

Don't think you will run into any problems with the engine/trans swap, as these trucks were available with a 460/c6. As far as the headers, I'm not to sure, all you can do is try them, you may have some clearance issues with the steering, I'm not sure. As far as the fuel cell, it shouldn't be any different than putting one in a car, just make sure you locate it where it's easy to fill, but out of harms way. Would love to see some pics, my first truck was a 68 F100 with a 360FE/3 on the tree. It was a fun truck.

87TXBRONCO is on a distinguished road
I loved those old Ford trucksI owned a 79 76 and a 73 all but the 79 was F250's tho. The 79 was a F100 and was my first truck.

The 72 is one good looking body style. Hope your swap is hassle free...
