Was out riding Sunday and came across the car, it looks to be a 81 Futura, Nobody home but I did get the phone number off the for sale sign. It has a 302, sign says new engine, looks like it may have been a 6 cyl. car at one point because you can see where the drivers side flange was cut to clear the oil filter, it also says new paint, well it looks to be pretty fresh but the prep work was marginal, it's red and silver with factory sunroof and factory console, seats have been redone, interior I would give a 7, exterior doesn't show signs of allot of filler so I'd give the exterior a 7 also, it's still 4 lug with some cheap weld copies up front and old school hammers on the rear. Chrome looks good, overall I'd give the entire car a 7, I plan to call the people to get full details today, once I have them I'll update this post and if you want the phone number send me a pm, it's near New Market, Virginia. Sign said $1900.00 but Im sure less if you have cash, I'd buy it but I want a boxtop bad so Im passing on this one.

wait, the 2dr or the 4dr futura? i think it was in 80 when they started making 4dr futura's...

Ok guys, sorry for the delay, i lost internet, or I should say I told my isp to get to steppin so I only have internet service at work for the moment, I have been by this house several times and left messages at the number on the for sale sign but to no avail, haven't heard anything as of today. It's still there, it is a 2 door futura just like the two that I have. I'm still looking for a 2 door boxtop myself so I really don't need another futura but if someone doesn't buy this one and I can haggle the owner I may own another one! I'll keep trying until I get someone with the info. As for my own stuff I have gotten the 9 inch in the new car and pulled the race engine from the wagon, I intend to get allot done this weekend and will update next week. Everyone stay safe this weekend especially if you live on the east coast.
