Nice pictures, I love Junkyards that look like that! Yeah I bet you need a case of Bug spray and some thick Jeans and Boots to navigate around there safe.

I would love to have that bumper!!
Junkyards like that are just awesome, its like most of those cars were driven in there and left. Its funny seeing a plant growing on the inside of that Futura!!!

any way you can hold the clear 78 directionals from the one with the plain front bumper. i think jonzo still wants to make his look like a 78.

I wish I lived near that junk yard. All the junk yards out hear have crushed anything ten years and older for the money.

I've been going to Joe's since the early 70's. I think my first purchace was a front bumper for my '69 Mustang. Fairmont trivia. Does anybody remember or ever heard of a Fairmont variant called a Mini-Bird so something like that? It was a two door with a padded vinyl roof. Joe had one, I saw it a couple of times.

Oh man, plain front bumper. You hook me up and I'll be forever in your debt.

you never answered me on if you needed the entire wiring or not with the fuse block... lol
i think that would be a good trade, for the other item
i'll find something else i think you'll need for the turbo, but that will be a surprise
Eric, brad, as soon as i can save up around 400 i'll give eric a ring and we could hang out for a weekend. I'll bring my bug juice (military grade bug spray)

Guys here's the plan. It's almost September. Make your list and plan on going late April to early May. Snow gone, stuff not growing yet and no bugs.

whoa! There used to be a yard like that around here, I sometimes went just to go back in time, we used to have mavericks and would often go there for parts, we'd snatch 56/57 ford 9 inch housings for the mavs, they had the spring perch in the correct location but were an inch shorter on each side so we could run N-50's under the fenders, just added two extra leaves. The owner died, the son's couldn't agree and mom had the entire yard crushed, we're talkin at least 3000 cars gone! They even had those old coe trucks sitting around, was a sad day when it closed. you guys have fun and watch for snakes, I just opened a t-bird hood to find a 6 foot copperhead laying on top of the intake, not a pretty damn scene!!! I don't need no parts today!!

i remember being in a junk yard in Nevada. i opened the door on a 90 mustang, after my friend told me it had a cobra in it, little did i think there was a red and yellow coral snake in it...
that same car had a black widow living under it, and that was the day i found out i was immune to widow bites.
turns out you only react to it if you're allergic to the venom...

i like those yards...there aren't any like that around me anymore...everyone crushed anything over 10 years old by now...just get lucky and find one missed or you gotta know somebody.
