the company contracted by FoMoCo had spare parts, and they were sent to the warehouse in either Dallas, or Houston, i'm not sure which. they sent them there because they had less of a chance of rusting. the supplies are low, and i believe since they don't appear on any price lists, they'll be expensive as hell.
i had 2 plans for getting it from her.
1. kill her and transfer the title over to my name before anybody realized she was dead...
2. steal it, take the windshield out, and rivet a new VIN tag into it, remove all door stickers...
she told me she'd sell it to me, but for $35,000. given the fact that the car is SO rare, that sounds about right to me, but the problem is getting the money together...

The beds are made of fiberglass so they wouldn't rust. I'd go with option #1

fiberglass does do weird things with moisture, and salt though... that's why over time ALL of the corvettes will need to be re-glassed...

I know they're ultra rare, I doubt the nicest one will ever sell for half of that...f/z owners are a rare breed....We're the only ones who know how cool our cars are!

Wow Dom... that's the same picture! Same car! Great find
So I'm curious, how much did she pay for it? , and WHY is it going to the junk yard?

that was the link she gave me from where she bought it.
the WHY is because she's so evil, she will destroy it beyond anybody's repair skill.

i think she came up with a ridiculously high number because she knows i'm willing to save up enough money to get it, or it's just too high for me...
like i said before, she's an evil bitch

Sometimes I'm not smarter than a fifth grader. I clicked on the link above, but didn't see any particular connection. Why did you ask? and what was I supposed to see?

So jonzo, If I were you, I'd buy one for $5000 if that's what they are worth and be done with it.
And all the rest of this thread is B/S if you ask me.

The one in the craigs list add is a stock durango....they added a link to the custom durango on cardomain to show potential buyers the coolness of a tastefully modified durango. There is no connection between the two vehicles other than make and model.

The Cardomain Durango is a fake . I have seen this one several times. Tho they did a great job and it looks really nice, I think I would beware of the fakes if you tend to spend an ass load of cash for one.
