hey everyone,
I found a website that had all the specs for 1981
ford fairmont wagon with 3.3 6 cyl with 3 speed auto from the factory.
94 horsepower
158 ftlbs of torque
I took the smog pump off, plugged off the egr on the intake and exhaust gutted both cats and now its real peppy!!
i wonder if the horse power gain is over the stock 94hp plus the torque.
the road test factory specs were
0-60 in 14.8
1/4 mile time of 19.9 at 69mph
I'm going to do some road test of my own to see if the car has gain more performance.

Stovebolt, have you had a chance to do any "roadtests" yet to see a performance gain? I'm interested to see how much of an inprovment these mods make.

I have been out of pocket for sometime will being do "roadtests" test this week sometime.Wagon is running great going to do a test fit of some 16inch pony wheels this week also. If they don't fit or work out for the car I plan on buying the chrome full moon hubcaps from mikes hubcaps.May put set of curve feeler on her to set off the whitewall tires. Sorry for the delay of response my computer crashed.
