Still looking for fairmont in s.c.

well guys it didnt work out with "sircrunch"'s fairmont. so im still in the market for a fairmont or zephyr, looking for a clean body, straight and running if possible. not looking for a show winner, just a good solid complete car to start with. thanks for all the responses on the first post.

ifound a futura in n.c earlier . hopefully i will be able to take a look this weekend. still keeping eyes and ears open to more fairmonts or zephyrs. never figured it would be this difficult to find one of these cars. my dad and i used to be nicked named "fairmont motors" back in the 90's. we used to find these all over needing simple repairs and could by them cheap. fix them cheap and we would sell them. at one time we had 6 of these at once. and now you have to drive hours to even find one. i willing to travel some for the right car. so if you are in another state and have a decentg car for sale. please let me know.

I blame Cash For Clunkers. Seriously though, I never see them here in MN (except for this one guy ). And when I do, I seriously consider buying it. There's this LTD wagon in my old neighborhood that I want in the WORST way. haha

i appreciate the response with links to cars for sale , i have already seen most of these , sad to say not much left to work with unless you want a complete resto project. not to mention 1800.00 for no motor or trans. ouch...lol i am still looking for one. i have expanded my search to north carolina and down to georgia, pretty mush anything north or south of that expected to be full of rust.
