Well, i've got the grey dash out and managed to locate the airbag module and remove it, so that the stupid dash light isn't always blinking at me. I'm pretty excited about that.
Also, i got the pedal bracket with clutch pedal in the car without too much headache. That's always a win!
Right now, i'm having some problems upholstering the seats, as you may have seen.

Well I haven't got too much more done other than patch the roof and strip out all the wiring. Been pretty busy here in the oilpatch.

It could be because when people post a request for help it's totally ignored. I've had a question up for over a month and not one reply. This place is a joke, the only reason I'm posting this is because I saw it on the weekly report that gets sent out.
I just haven't taken the time to delete my account.

That's just because people don't waste time with juvenile comments on legitimate questions on here. When you do get an answer, it will be the right answer. So just be patient.

After reading this, I specifically looked up all your posts. As of RIGHT NOW, you have a grand total of 4 posts. One post was saying that you are going to delete your account and the other three posts are about getting disc brakes on your Fairlane. Am I missing any? You said there were no replies, but on January 28, I replied to your post and asked if your parts were factory or aftermarket. You replied that they were aftermarket. I specifically asked you what was available from the manufacturer of these aftermarket parts (sounds like more than one company) and you did not reply. You also did not state what aftermarket company made them. Have you asked for any help from the manufacturers of your parts?
How can you expect anybody to help you without giving them any information? If you need help that bad, take it to your local mechanic shop and let them turn some wrenches on your car and let them hunt all over the world for parts that may or may not exist.
Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I agree with Mark, the site will get busier come spring time. I assume that most people put off doing their own repairs (those that can be put off) until the weather is more comfortable.
Rayr,
Actually this site is very good in that it has a very small percentage of unanswered threads, in fact it has more threads where an answer was given and the OP never came back for the answer, or did come back, and didn't say thanks. There is also a higher percentage where the OP didn't answer questions so that we could be of further help, (your's falls into that category).
Zephyrman,
I've been busy pulling 12 hour days, and haven't been on much.

I got some bad news today. My mechanic (who became my friend) is moving his shop about 15 miles away. He is currently only a mile away, and if I needed to drop the car off, I could do that and walk home. Sometimes I'd stop in just to chat while running errands, but I only pass by his new location about once a month. They say... "cupid's wings aren't made for long flights", and I don't even have cupid's wings. I'm gonna miss that guy.
