Ford Pick-Up

Below you will find a list of discussions in the Ford Pick-Up forum at the Ford Forums Online - Ford Discussion & Enthusiast Forum. Ford Pickup Trucks - 1948 thru 1979 1948 was the year that Ford introduced the "F" prefix for use in designating the load capacity of its lighter duty trucks. The 1/2 ton was called an F-1, the 3/4 ton truck was referred to as an F-2 and the F-3 designation meant a one ton carrying capacity Pickup. The "F" series continued through F-8 for heavy duty trucks. Production: 1948 - 1979
