Graybeard Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: SoCalif Surf City Posts: 264 Credits: 5,240 Thanks: 11 Thanked 14 Times in 13 Posts Rep Power: 2	Temp Control Knocking Sound Just as the new owner got in the '02 Windstar Cargo this morning, I turned the heater temp control down to zero, and soon there was a loud knocking sound from the center dash, much louder than the blend door actuator. Knocking went away when I turned the heat back up, and came back soon after turning it down again.
