Trying to diagnosis your own problems with a air bag system is not a wise thing to do.Serious injuries could happen with one small mistake such as back probing a connector. If your not trained on how to handle the system and components, you should not be touching them.Special tools are required to aid in the diagnosis of these systems and not many people are going to dish out $75.00 for each bypass module to be substituted for each air bag.
I would strongly recommend that this website FFO does not respond to air bag repairs other than recommending the user take it to a dealer for diagnosis. There are some supposed members that state they are trained technicians and can't even install the correct components or have any means of diagnosing the problems. When you provide information, you are leaving yourself open to lawsuits,no matter what disclaimers the website posts.Lawyers find all the loopholes.

PRECAUTIONS
Precautions for Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) “AIR BAG” and “SEAT
BELT PRE-TENSIONER”
The Supplemental Restraint System such as “AIR BAG” and “SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER”, used along
with a front seat belt, helps to reduce the risk or severity of injury to the driver and front passenger for certain
types of collision. Information necessary to service the system safely is included in the SRS and SB section of
this Service Manual.
WARNING:
l To avoid rendering the SRS inoperative, which could increase the risk of personal injury or death
in the event of a collision which would result in air bag inflation, all maintenance must be performed
by an authorized dealer.
l Improper maintenance, including incorrect removal and installation of the SRS, can lead to personal
injury caused by unintentional activation of the system. For removal of Spiral Cable and Air
Bag Module, see the SRS section.
l Do not use electrical test equipment on any circuit related to the SRS unless instructed to in this
Service Manual. SRS wiring harnesses can be identified by yellow and/or orange harnesses or
harness connectors.
