2009 Escape - Blower Motor Location

I believe my blower motor resistor is in need of a replacement on my 2009 Escape. Where is it located, and where would I go about buying a new one?

Hey there Markus25,

Your Blower Motor Resistor is located behind the Glove Box. Please see the attached information for the replacement of your Blower Motor Resistor. You can purchase one at your local Ford Dealer or if you prefer it can be purchased online at the attached link or any other Online Auto Parts Source.

Genuine 2009 Ford Escape Blower motor

Hope this helps.

To change the heater fan resistor on a 2009 Escape,
  1. Open the glove box and clean it out
  2. Press the top sides of the glove box (rubber stoppers) and until the box is free and you can see the heater fan box.
  3. On the top right side of the heater box you will see the wires attached to the resistor, remove the wire harness
  4. There are 2 screws holding the resistor inplace, remove the screws and pull the resitor out.
