Thanks for the video.

Does anyone know why Autozoner doesn't carry Motorcraft a/f? Why has the price of all a/f jumped so much in the last few years? It's now around $15/gal. Not that long ago it was under $5.

Antifreeze has jumped in price along with everything else including food. Glycol the main ingredient, with some more sophisticated additives. There has been a lot of research on early corrosion issues with antifreeze. Acidic, or caustic ph levels can cause lots of problems. One reason that changing antifreeze every 2 years was recommended. Now they say that there are 100,000 mile antifreezes that have better additives. I am not convinced. If you test your system for electrolysis you will find that acceptable safe levels just keep creeping up the voltage scale year after year. I am not a chemical engineer, so I do not have the solution, other than to change antifreeze earlier than when the factory recommends, so the aluminum does not get eaten away.
