1985 Ford LTD Heater Core Replacement

Hello all. As you can see, I am new here, but I am not unfamiliar with the whole forum setup, as I am a car guy who has frequented others like this one. Mostly, I am a Studebaker guy, but, in the words of my father, I have drifted over to the "Dark Side". ...being Fords.

Anyhow, what is going on is that my daily driver is a 1985 LTD, which I love. However, the heater core has blown. (Shudder) We all know what that means: Tear your interior down to the brackets. Not a problem. I'm used to tearing things down and rebuilding them. At present, I have totally discombobulated my poor LTD. The problem that I am having is trying to find the bolts that secure the evaporator assembly in the engine compartment. In my repair manual and online I always find "remove the bolts in the engine compartment that secure the evaporator, then remove the bolts to the evaparator from the interior." However, no one has ever specified where the bolts are in the engine compartment. I found the ones under the dash just fine, but I am having a hard time locating the ones on the firewall. Can anyone out there clue me in on this? Thanks!

Wow, I'm not too bright. Was looking directly at them the whole time. sheesh. Well, done now.

Better to be thought a fool and remain silent than to speak and remove all doubt...
