Rob hired some guy to help with some admin stuff. I saw that he gave himself the highest reputation and I bitched to Rob about it, aparrantly to no avail.

Thank you very much for the help. I got power to the pump but no pressure in the line. I'll replace the pump now.

My van, 1998 Windstar LTD 3.8 eng. I cannot get my van to start unless I put some fuel in the intake manifold. I replaced the fuel filter and tried to get fuel to squirt from the hose when the filter was off with no luck. How do I diagnose the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, etc. Can I jump the fuel pump or put an electric inline pump (temporary). Also, I was having intermittent hard/rough start for several months. Recent OBD codes P0171, P1151, P0300, P1131, P0174, P0306, & P1000. I replaced mass air sensor, throttle position sensor & intake vacuum elbow (at top of manifold).
Your help would be very appreciated.

Canuck, I respect your advice. You sure helped me before. I have added to the thread "I have oil in my resevoir" in retired vans. Any advise is welcome.
