OK, I'm not sure this amp is a single channel or 2 channel amp ( one or two speaker outputs ) so i'm going with what I do know. A kicker L7 will work fine at either 2 or 4 ohms, you just get more power out of the amp at 2 ohms. You don't have a switch to go from 4 to 2 ohms, you achieve this by bridging the two channels so that they are both feeding the one sub. If you are able to post up a really good close up pic of the amp so I can see all the connections, I'll be better able to help you sort this out.

Ok I wasn't sure if it was a monoblock or not, I don't have a bunch of familiarity with Planetaudio products. Your pics are a little fuzzy when I click on the pic to enlarge it, but I do see a switch that says bridged, and another that seems to say phased, so it is switchable from bridged to non and I think the phase switch helps control the ohms output.

okay the bridged just has 2 settings.. one says MASTER and the other SLAVE... and the phase just says 0-180 degrees.... I think that the phase control is just the timing of when it activates?? what do u think

Hmm, not sureabout the settings, did you buy this amp new or used? You may want to take it to a stereo shop that deals with planet Audio amps and get them to help you out, since they will have more knowledge about them. Sorry I can't be a bigger help.

phase in phase out of phase when two speakers are in phase they are moving in and out at the same time so if your speakers are out of phase they are working oppisite of each othes 180 degrees out in another words when you reverse the phaqes its taking the positive speaker wire and making it a negative and the negative a positive this is for inverting your speaker when inverted you want your speaker to fir backwards or out of phase bridgeing takes one channel to power two subs or taking a two channel amp and make it a single channel ex 2 ohm stable amp and 2 4 ohm speakers if you bridge the speakers into one channel it drops the ohm load in half you do this by tieing the positive to the poitive and the negative to the negitive speaker wires together and then taking the positive to the poitive to the ampand then the negative speaker wire to the negative on the amp on the speaker out terminals on the amp so just how many ohms is your L7 speaker if your ohm load of your speaker is lower than the ohm stable of your amp it will cause your amp to overheat and clip ie it wont work right with that said have a nice day
