My 2001 Ford Taurus radio recently just stopped working. It seems like it is not getting power. I have checked fuses and they are good. I thought head unit was bad so purchased another. Plugged it in and nothing. I see this same description of the Taurus radio dying (no power) all over the Internet but I haven't found one instance where someone has a definitive answer of what the problem is.
By the description of the symptoms it sounds like a common problem which should have a common solution. I am really interested in hearing from someone who has actually fixed this problem with the radio and cd player.
