hi newby here in need of help.

car ford focus titanium estate 2010 1.6 td.

issue main brake lights not working but the centre is.

tried: fuse check based on the owners manual online from ford (the only 1 with numbers that matched as the fuse board is numbered 101 etc)
    checked bulbs

outcome: both seem to be ok

    Welcome to the FFO!

To recap, only the high center brake lamp works when the brakes are applied?

Have you looked at the bulbs?

I don't have wiring diagrams for cars this new. I have one for my 2006 Navigator.

The high center lamp is wired separately from the bake light switch than the other two brake lamps. My guess would be the brake lamp switch or wiring harness from there to the L & R brake lamp. In my Navigator there are at least 4 harness connectors that could be an issue as well.
