Has anyone added trailer wiring to their 2006 Ford E-250? I have a brake controller plug in, inside the cab. There are no wires running to the back of the van. However, around the spare tire on the frame, there is a plug that matches a 4 way trailer set up that I can cut off and hard wire a 4 way trailer wire configuration too but nothing for the brake controller and hot wire. I read somewhere that the wires coming from the brake controller plug inside the cab, ends at a bolted wire harness connection that is next to the oil filter. My question is, how do I know what wires in that harness are the brake controller and the hot wire? Has anyone added this before that may know how to connect it? Thanks!
