Well I traded in the 2011 Edge and bought a 2003 Cobra Convertible. I got a sweet deal after arguing with the salesman and finance guy plus the dealership was out in the boonies and they couldn't sell the car since it was old and financing is harder on old cars.

    Well here is the rundown......

2011 Edge ended up being $21,000 for the trade-in, yep this was a basic bottom line Edge with ZERO options with almost 16,000 miles. Only thing different was the Hitch I installed and remote start. $19,000 is normal trade-in value.

2003 Mustang Cobra Convertible was $24,000 with only 3300 (yes 3300) miles. The original owner used it as a garage ornament and traded it in for a new Mustang.

So here are 2 pictures and a video.

1 Picture has some NASCAR autograph, if you know who it is please tell me cause I do not follow NASCAR.

Watch the exhaust note vibrate the camera at the end of the video.

Congratulations...those Termis are NASTY! They are fast as is, but if you start to mod them there is amazing potential. That forged short-block means you can strap on a big blower and really lay down some power.

Check out Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader! if you need to get the suspension sorted; the Independent Rear Suspension on those cars can be troublesome (wheel hop, no hook, etc.) if not addressed. I know most of the Termi guys use stuff from them.

    Thanks for the link.

I just bought a KillerChiller for it. This unit ties into the factory A/C system and runs it through a new intercooler IC and chills the coolant to a guaranteed 50' or more drop in temp.

I always thought those irs half shafts liked to snap... Atleast thats why Ford said the didn't use em on the 06-1? Shelby. They said they fixed it on the 2014 by making them a lot thicker... Great score either way mark!

The Terms are great vehicles. Maximum Motorsports and others have figured how to stop all the problems with the independent suspension. And yes, it will handle heavy HP.

They didnt use them cause the dropped the IRS before the Shelby was built. They went back to SRA.
