      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Sadly this may be the last post I make on the old &#039;11 Crown Vic (320k). So yesterday I heard a quiet hiss coming from the front which turned out to be a very small radiator leak...in the middle of a fin somewhere. Doing errands around town today I kept extra coolant with me and added it as it needed. After filling it up I make a 60 mph trip to a nearby city about 20 miles away. When I get to a stop at the bottom of the off ramp, I hit the gas it it doesn&#039;t move. No extra lights on the dash...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[When I lower the regulator all the way down it is catching on the power lock housing.  I drilled out the rivet and replaced with a new bolt.  While it was out I tried to pull the door panel out slightly where the power lock sits.  Thoughts?  I am pretty sure I installed the new window regulator properly.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[My current transmission is a Mustang Toploader 4sp that I am replacing in my 64 Galaxie.<br />
On this trans, the speedo gear is on passenger side.<br />
On a Galaxie trans, it is on the drivers side.<br />
With the new trans, I can choose between s mustang tail (everything fits perfect) or a galaxie tail.<br />
Galaxie tail will require shorter driveshaft, maybe different hurst shifter, etc., but the speedo will hook up and work.<br />

I was told that there is no way to get the speedo to work in a galaxie with a...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Just wondering if anyone has replaced the windlace...I recently purchased new cloth windlace from Macs ...it is listed as being original color etc....but the &quot;blue&quot; cloth is more a light purple in color !  It certainly does not look right...the car color is &quot;Y&quot; - silver blue poly, with two tone blue interior vinyl.<br />
No returns - so thinking I may have to dye it...not yet installed yet!<br />

Addition is what seller told me says Eddie bower on trunk. Anyway I am asking about my gas gauge it is not reading right has not for a while less then  a year since I got it, I bought it used. Check engine light came on right after getting it a friend with one of those hook up things read it and a code came up I don&#039;t remember the code.<br />

There is a correlation between how fast I accelerate and how fast the engine surges. The faster the acceleration the greater the surge.  It does not happen when the air is off. On two separate occasions while driving it home I had it flat line while taking a right turn. Both times I would have not had my foot on the accelerator, both times I would have been going 30mph then down to ~15mph while taking the turn. Poof, power steering is gone, truck is completely dead. The next day, the main part of the handle pulled right out when opening the door.  It wasn&#039;t latching to anything.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[Almost done with the 66 7 litre convertable but the hubcaps will not fit. I  know they had 15 inch specific wheels to fit the KH calipers but are these wheels also required to fit the 7 litre hubcaps.  The KH calipers and wheels are long gone and we have 15 inch  steel wheels on the car. The hub caps seem to only grab a half inch onto the wheel and will not hold on the current wheels. the mounting area of the wheel seems to  be rounded requiring a longer tab to mount . Looking at 7 litre...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hello, I have this dilemma, I own a 1998 ford contour DOHC VCT 2.0L that sounds OK &quot;while parked&quot; on Idle (approx, 800rpm) but when I accelerate to approx 3900 rpm (while parked) my engine makes a bogging down sound. It sounds like when you hit the gas and let go and keep doing that although the pedal is held steady steady. And only on high acceleration.<br />

I have a 2013 Fiesta, 1.6 L engine, automatic.<br />

Today I noticed that I have to hold the key in the on position for about a minute and a half before starting the car, otherwise no power seems to go to the starter.  It&#039;s acting as though the anti-theft system is a bit delayed in recognizing the key.<br />

Some experts suggested leaving the ignition on for 15 minutes to reset the anti-theft system.  This works fine for a bit but then re-occurs.  The batter was tested and seems to be good,...<br />
