Does anyone know where I can get the measurements/dimensions for my gas tank. Looking to have a custom one made, but I don't have a lift so can't measure myself. You know height, width, thickness. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Spectra Premium is the standard in the industry for reproduction fuel tanks.
They list a tank for a 1961 Country Squire (however Country Sedan and Ranch Wagon should be the same)
Their 20 gallon tank for this application is a F57D the dimension is

30 x 30 x 7

Product (spectrapremium.com)
Looks like tank straps are available as well.

I do not get this listing. It is for a Ford Ranch Wagon
But the listing says it does not fit station wagons
1961-1964 Ford Ranch Wagon Fuel Tank - Spectra Premium F57D - - PartsGeek.com
And I thought a Ranch Wagon was a station wagon.

Here is another one
For 1961-1964 Ford Country Sedan Fuel Tank Spectra 65848VJ 1962 1963 | eBay

Is the tank on the side of the wagon behind the rear tire?
Or under the wagon in the center of the vehicle?

Yeah, don't know what they mean. The picture doesn't look like mine either. Mine is surrounds the spare time well. I have a Coyote engine in the Squire and need a tank with baffles and a built in fuel pump. I need the measurements to order a custom tank.

If the F57D shown is not close, you should drop your current tank.

Not many 1961 vehicles around. And wagons are real rare.
The market was not kind to the 1959 to 1961 vehicles. There was a recession back then so car sales were off.
Ford was going through a lot of troubles at that time too. (Closed MEL Division) Edsel, Continental ....
Lastly quality was a bit poor back then. There are few survivors.

I don't know if the spectrum tank will fit, but it doesn't matter. I need one with baffles and a fuel pump in tank.

If that Spectra tank fits you now have the dimensions
Which is what you wanted.

If it does not fit then you will need to drop the tank and get measurements. You will have to drop the tank anyway.
