Lipstick applied to sell. Original? Heater hose indicates it's been bypassed, location of ignition coil not close to original, replacment alternator and the door tag looks reproduced imho. 25,000 miles in 58 years? Puhleeeeeze. ... IF IF IF IF the paint and interior are as good up close and no signficnat rust in all the usual place ... listed at over 2X market value.
It is too high on price which will make it sit for long periods for sale.
At that price the Galaxie 500 has too many doors.
The listing states gone over with a fine tooth comb and missed the items above. Especially the heater. It may be missing an air cleaner tag that states "390". I believe the 390 2V was 300HP and the 390 4V was 330 HP. I might be wrong on that.
Says highly optioned, however it is missing power brake booster even though the listing says power brakes, no power windows, no 4-way power front bench seat. The other options that could be available would be AM-FM radio, clock may be other things.
The front & rear bumper guards and AC were both dealer installed and not factor options
The warranty plate is missing the DSO which is slightly concerning.
The single option that makes this car unique is the swing away steering column. Now that is rather rare.
