The Park Lane is a Mercury.
So not sure if you are looking at a Lincoln or a Mercury.
The actual serial number is located on the cowl. (The term VIN did not exist until 1980)
This will be 11 digits.
The data plate on the driver's door or door post is only for reference. May times called a warranty plate.
Attached a 65 serial number location on the cowl
Below that is for 1966
