I am in need of a wiper switch for my 1972 Ford custom 500 429 Police Interceptor.......can anybody help?
Hello perrynrushing,

Have you looked up the Ford part number then do an internet search on said number? You might find an NOS or used one on E-Bay, but having the number will help your search. Also there are old car junkyards that you can try such as Desert Valley Auto Parts or CTC Auto Ranch.

Just be warned these parts that aren't reproduced aren't getting any younger and every year there are less and less of them driving the prices way up. Expect sticker shock on now antique parts.

Cheers

There are two switches as well.
Intermittent wiper switch
And non-Intermittent wiper switch

I have a 71. If memory serves me the 71 & 72 full sized Ford are the same. I forget if Mercury is the same.

If I have time I will look up the part number
