I have never tackled this job even if it possible, but my buddy 1990 Lincoln has a problem ... a low rider problem. i want to swap the rear air over to regular shock can this be done, do i just buy normal shock, or do i need a kit, or will the car stay air? thank you ...

Lincoln what? Town Car or Continental? There is a big difference and a lot of difference in the price.

Town cars are actually pretty easy. You should be able to find a kit from a suspension specialist place. Or you could go to a salvage yard and get the springs and upper mounts and go that route. You will have to remove the compressor and lines. The light will be on in the dash but that's all.

Yep. I did a Town Car about a year ago. Smooth install. Good result.
There were instruction included that gave detailed tips on disabling the dash light.
