[Mountainman 1954]

Trying to remove camshaft to replace the timing gear.
While trying to pull camshaft out it feels like I am hitting something solid.
Have pulled the rocker arms, push rods, lifters(Yes kept everything in order and marked)
Any and all suggestions welcome.

Trust plate behind the cam gear? if it has one. IDK

Thrust plate bolts are out can only pull the camshaft out about 6 inches then feels like hitting something rather solid.
