:mad2:I have a 2000 ZX2 that I bought to rebuild. I'm not getting spark and no power to the fuel pump. when I hooked up my OBDII computer, I got the "ERR" code. I replaced the relay box under the air filter, plugs and wire, and a 1/3 of the body. I don't want to use this as an anger management tool, But if it don't run, that's what will be left to do. I'm really starting to HATE this little car and it's sucking my will to be a Ford junky (I miss my 98 Ranger SO bad). PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! :mad5::mad2::mad5::mad2::mad5:

Do you have power at pin 16 of the dlc connector ? I would also check the battery connection, the ground side has a bunch of little grounds attached to it.

OK so you replaced the CCRM which houses relays to the EEC, and fuel pump. I'd check my fuses, all of them, real quickly.

The DLC is usually on the same fuse as the cigar lighter, and the CCRM usually has two or three fuses suppling it (I am pretty sure) one for each relay, and one for the trigger to the relays.

Make sure your fuel safety inertial switch is depressed.

Did you check all of your fuses?
Some are under the hood, others under the dash.

Phantom, Poppy - Would any of these wiring diagrams (Engine Control, Power Distribution and Data Link Connector) for a 2002 ZX2 help?
