i'm not sure if i'm just supposed to dive right in......i really do need some help trying to figure out what's going on with my a/c...actually,the heat too,but i'm not worried about that anymore! i hate watching my mom sweat as i drive her to doctors appts! i have a 2001 ford escape. his name is vincent von hammond. he likes to be called vinnie.he's a 5 speed.he gets touchy if he hears anyone say bad things about him....so i'm doing this while he's asleep!
i really do love my car....suv...it's the nicest one i've ever owned.i try to take good care of him,but my finances are limited. a nice guy @ a repair shop changed out a relay because my fan wasnt blowing...it seemed ok for a bit.now it's doing it again.the temp guage reads hot after about 10-15 mins,and it just starts blowing air....altho not cold air.i can turn the car off...wait a bit...start it and get the same all over again.usually while idling @ a light, i may get some cold air again.the temp gauge fluctuates.it's freaking me out! am i killing vinnie by driving him anyway?! do these guys have thermostats? well, after reading all this,if you haven't decided i'm nuts,please give me some advice.....about vinnie. thanks!

Changed the font color to default, that off-green color is just to hard to read.

Soooo, we have a 2001 Escape, the temp gauge suggests overheating after 10-15 min., which also seems to affect the A/C. Any idea if it is a 4 cylinder or a 6 cylinder ( 2.0 or 3.0). Also how many miles are on the odometer?
