2004 F150 Grinding

I have a 2004 F150 supercrew that I changed both front rotors and brake pads. Now when I first use the brakes the grind like the ABS is trying to engage. After 5-20 minutes they stop and the ABS light comes on.

4X4, 4X2? Did you use Ford rotors or cheaper white box stuff from AZ or some other store? Have a ton of problems with off shore stuff. The ABS exciter rings are made of inferior metal and will confuse the sensors.
4x2....used Duralast rotors.
Is there any way to tell if it is both or just one?

Canuck623 or anyone else correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't the code causing the ABS light specify if it was left or right or both. If as you said it could be a case of

Our scanner at the house is the Innova 3160 Code Reader with ABS and it is extremely accurate and pretty cool too.
I dont have a code reader with ABS, but I will see if I can find one. Thanks for help.
Just a thought, but does it have 4 wheel abs and if so, did the rotors have the trigger wheels for the abs sensors? If not, this would cause it to go into abs mode when braking and then turn on the abs light when it did not detect front speed senors.
