Any one know if the FS remotes are interchangeable across the company line? I seem to have 36 button remote instead of the 8 button one specified in the owners manual. Also the wireless headphones feature an A/B channel switch, which works on A for the installed system, but not B.
I have found that the 2007 F-150 uses the 36 button, and A/B switch for alternate audio on the headphones. But I cannot get the remote work on the my FS. It does put out an infrared signal, as verified by my D8 Sony, but no response from the FES [Family Entertainement System] from any of the remotes keypresses.
Any one have some insight?
