Do you know what was done to the new transmission ?My '09 2wd Escape has been the shop 7 times within the last year for axle seal, transmission replacement and new parts for that new transmission.
Not as bad so far as the LH half shaft leaks but there have several posts in forums about RH intermediate shaft leaks on '10 Escapes. The Fusion has the same transmission as the Escape (6F35).
Most transmission issues with the 6F35 were either axle seals leaking or issues related to "flat towing" the vehicle. These seem to be resolved now.
Hopefully Customer Satisfaction Program 10B15 will help to resolve many of the remaining issues. I'm glad Ford has done this.:yesnod:The Fusion has the same transmission as the Escape (6F35).

http://www.fordforumsonline.com/forum/ford-escape/215-2009-flat-tow-issues.htmlWhat is the flat tow issue? I have felt and can hear a vibration in the tranny around 37-39 mph.....but not all the time. I have a 2010 limited 4X4.
My 2010 Limited 4X4 just started doing this and it slammed into gear when moving to drive :mad2: What TSB number fixed this for you? Thanks.I had some shifting issues ( engine revving between shifts sometimes ) After having the TSB done to flash the PCM it shifts much better . It's like a different transmission.
