Yes. All Ford Motor cars and trucks have a factory cooler. Nothing more is needed or recommended for normal usage.

Does the 2010 Ford Escape 6 cylinder have a transmission cooler on it?
All the vehicles with automatics I'm aware of , as well as the Escapes have transmission coolers. Some have extra capacity for towing and heavy duty. I don't know if the standard one on the Escape has extra capacity . Anyone out there Know ?

All vehicles with automatic transmissions are equipped with a transmission fluid cooler integral to the radiator which cannot be repaired separately. The integral transmission fluid cooler transfers heat from the transmission fluid to the engine coolant. The auxiliary transmission fluid cooler transfers heat from the transmission fluid
to the outside air. I believe all Escapes since 08 have the aux cooler.

Agreed.
The 2008-2010 3.0 liter Escapes cool the transfluid in a air-to-oil cooler, which is part of the A/C condenser, in a separate circuit. This condenser can be identified by the 4 lines attatching to it: 2 for A/C, 2 for ATF. This type of cooler tends to be more efficient for heat dispersal.
Note: The Crown Vic has used this type of ATF cooling strategy for more than 10 years.
