So upon replacing the spark plugs and valve cover gasket I tried to take off the cht sensor and it wouldn't move . The center release broke and I had to peel it off using an engine pick and realized that on the back of the female plug there was a yellow goo kinda like a glue keeping it on so I had to finish breaking the male end to get it to come off. Any advice on fixing this?

Crimping can work. Then fill the joint with RTV.
Solder with heat shrink would be a more permanent connection.
All EEC sensors operate off of 5 volts and just a tad bit of current.
