I am experiencing low air flow from vents in both heat or AC mode and to all vents.
(Note: I already performed a sensor fix for the AC, which fixed the freeze-up issue I had. Now the AC gets cold and works fine, but again low airflow from the floor, defrost, or dash vents.)
What it does: The blower is blowing fine, and you can hear it change speeds and has good volume. However, it sounds blocked, like the air has no place to go and nothing seems to change the condition. More air does come out at high versus low speeds, but there is still barely anything coming out. The AC and heat are fundamentally "working" because the cabin will get warm or cool over time; it just takes a while since there is very low air volume in the cabin vents.
I was hoping for some advice before I start tearing into it.

Welcome to the FFO!

Could there be air leaking out in other areas?
The flow is set for instrument panel and air is coming out defrost or floor too?

Not really coming out of anywhere with any force at all, it's just like it is blocked. You can select the different vents options, floor, defrost and it seems to cycle to them, but not much air comes out of any of them.
I have not found a HVAC air flow diagram.
Is this the fix you did? (see attatched)

Yes sir! That is it. The AC would no longer function, meaning it would work for a while, and then it would eventually blow hot air instead of cold. So, I read the TSB on this and performed this modification to the sensor. The AC is cold now and will cool off the car eventually, just not much air comes out.

Also, note that it does have dual auto climate controls.

Also, related to the TSB, I did not evacuate the AC and refill. I'm not sure why you would have to do that but wanted to give you all the info... I was guessing it was a dealer-level liability thing.
Is it possible the cabin air filter is blocked or otherwise restricted? That would cause the scenario you have described.

I think that's the next logical thing to check. I will pull it out in the AM and see if it helps. I really appreciate the help!

The issue is resolved, it was the cabin air filter. The filter was disgusting, I had forgotten it even had one.

Thanks for posting back.
Those filters do not need replacing much. Every 5 years or so should be good

Interesting; five years... wow. The CAFs in my rides are disgusting in 18-24 months; certainly sooner than the engine air filter; must be all the flora and fauna my wife plants.
