Ford 2014 Edge: The date shown on the display is one day off.
The Owner's manual says:
"You cannot manually set the date. Your vehicle's GPS does this for you".
How can you then set the date correctly?

Welcome to the FFO!

Is there a way to update the GPS?
For the compass in my ride there is a procedure to get that set correctly. I did it long time ago and just remember driving in a circle in a parking lot.

Do you have navigation? (Maps or the SYNC program)

Is the AM and PM out of sync? Meaning you are only a 1/2 day off not a full day off?

Problem solved!
Even though the owners manual clearly says "You cannot manually set the date", I found an easy way to do just that.
1. Pushed the MENU button. This brings up a display with two choices: "Clock Settings >" and "Display Settings >".
2. Selected "Clock Settings >" and, to my surprise, a new display came up with two choices: "Set time >" and "Set date >"
3. Selected "Set date >" and a new screen came up showing the date and arrows for adjustment.
This is not described in the manual.
Pushing the CLOCK button instead of the MENU button only allows you to change the time but not the date.
Thanks to every one who responded to my question.
