Good evening, I am hoping someone here can help. I have been chasing a brake groan for almost a year. I replaced front pads and rotors after my purchase, I tried two brands of aftermarket and just now put on motorcraft. Still no change. It's been to ford but they can't figure it out. Seems to mostly be left front, the goan started very intermittent, then progressively got worse. Now it will sometime do it without hitting the brakes! If I turn left the noise goes away. No it's not wheel bearing noise. I am a service manager at a local shop and my guys are convinced it's a pad/rotor transfer goan. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried switching wheels side to side?
trim on the wheels can slip

I have had the vehicle repaired. Turns out it was the iwe's. ( Integrated Wheel End ) I told the first ford garage that was the problem and they argued with me. I have the extended warranty so I to it to another dealer. One day and $106 later it's fixed

$106 bucks seem like much
But at lest you can sleep without worrying about it
