So, on the way to take my young'n to school and me to work.
We stopped at the gas station just right down the road from his school.
leaving get back into the car and start it up it takes off great then sputters and dies.
what the crap.....it would not restart.
It has gas flow couldn't figure it out without him being late for school, so we took off walking.
Not a good Monday. It is still at the gas station in a parking spot that i was able to coast into.
I had to call to get a ride to work but I'll bum a ride during lunch to check for spark. It's the only think I can think of.
Yet it's that new Pertronix ing. that i put on in mid-June. If that's the problem, it is still under warranty but that doesn't help me right now to get it home.
I might have to put a set of reg points in to get it home if that's what it is.
I'll let yall know what the outcome is................

Got a ride to the gas station where the falcon was and pulled the tools out popped the hood, then I thought..... I wonder...
Jumped inside and turned the kay and it started like nothing was wrong.
All i can do is run the basic test on volts and check fuel pressure but until it happens again, I don't know what went wrong.

Hmmmm

Next time the engine stalls or does not start, remove the air cleaner and operate the accelerator. You are looking for a squirt of fuel. No squirt, you have at least split the concern between fuel and spark in half.

Wonder if some of that "stuff" in your fuel line worked into the carb?
