i havea 1995 ford taurus that I rebuilt the transmission and replaced the head gaskets on, now it won't start. It ran fine before I started working on it. I originally hand the distributor one tooth off, but it is right now. I have decent compression. It just turns over but no fire at all. Did I miss hooking something up? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Doug

That's what I thought at first, but it was just off a little. I checked by taking #1 spark plug out and turned the engine over by hand until I felt compression in the 1 hole, then I ran to top and checked the timing mark, it was at zero. Then I made sure the rotar was pointing to #1. Does that sound right?
