98 windstar window problem

I have a 98 windstar with an interesting glitch.

All of a sudden, the passenger windows (front and back) will not open. The buttons on the driver door work for the driver windows, and the power locks work on both driver and passenger side, but the windows wont open up!

Is there a simple solution to this?

Thanks!

On the driver's door there is a flip lever switch ( soem kind of window safety lock so the kids can't open and close the windows. Did you check to make sure that wasn't flipped?

If so and that didn't work, do the passenger side windows work from the switch in the passenger door?
I dont seem to have a window lock option. The switch on the passenger side does not work.
I am not having the best of days today..... so I am going to take this one slowly.....

Is this an intermittent problem? Thinking out loud here, I am wondering if it is possible that a relay may be stuck, as there is no fuse per say for the power windows, or a bad ground, or perhaps a wiring issue???

I am attaching a power window wiring diagram specific to a 1998 Windstar.

Hope this helps.....

it might have been intermittent for a day.
How would i test the passenger side window? If the switch doesn't work from driver or psngr side, where do I check the wires?
I swear there is another topic like this on the forum.
