i bought a trac-loc from frpp for my 7.5 axle. i'm finally getting around to doing it, but i've never done a build like this before. can anybody post a diagram, or video on how to do it before i rip it apart? the things i'm not sure on are shimming, and setting up pinion angles...

Jon,Ash,If you follow that procedure you will surely go deaf from the howl that the rearend will have.Didn't see anything on setting pinion depth or tooth contact.

the pics are a good reference, but the pinion depth is more or less what i'm looking at. this is the first rear i've attempted to build. i had the 68 dodge, but they all came with limited slip posi's back then...

that's perfect Royesses! all i needed was a reference, and a good ides of what i needed to do. thank you guys for the help. if i have any more Q's about this task, i'll be sure to ask.
