If I recall correctly, Torx head caliper pins were used up to 1992 only, which was Torx Bit D79P-2100-T40.

Brake caliper pins
I'm about to attempt my first brake job. I have a 1995 Thunderbird. The plan is to have everything at the ready before I start. What kind of heads are on the caliper pins? One picture in an old manual that I have shows a torx head. I do not have any torx sockets I would appreciate any knowledge so I can buy the proper socket if I need it. Thanks in advance.
