Bronco - Single Igntion coil test Using a digital voltmeter.
primary windings - test across the two small connectors
secondary windings - check the resistance from the little pole that is marked bat or B+ to the large center pole that goes to the distributor cap
Duraspark II
The primary circuit from B+ to tach should be 0.8 - 1.6 ohms
The secondary windings (B+ to plug wire) should measure 7,700 - 10,500 ohms
TFI-IV
The primary circuit from B+ to tach should be 0.3 - 1.0 ohms
The secondary windings (B+ to plug wire) should measure 8,000 - 11,500 ohms
